This is a collection of photos from the Cedar Fire which happened on October 26th of 2003. We watched it travel very quickly, and approach within about 2 miles of our house. There are lots of photos here. This fire burned down hundreds of houses in Poway, Scripps Ranch, and the eastern portions of San Diego County. It was one of 4 fires that day. A collection of photos which show the aftermath of the fire was taken a few days later. Some of these reflect the amount of soot still floating in the air.
